Increasing productivity for LINks
The Local Involvement Network needed a central portal to manage a wide variety of issues for dozens of communities across the South of England. Information for these communities was managed across numerous platforms which made it hard for people to work together or share information easily. This wasted hours of effort and made numerous organisations inefficient.
The results
Adido built the 'Makes a Change' website in 2007 to help improve productivity in local commuities. Here are just some of the results achieved so far
- Over 500 registered users within one year
- Over 150 community groups set up to discuss local issues
- Database of contacts built to over 700
- Over 60 events have been created and attended
- Over 700 votes in polls to help understand user opinion
